The German–Montenegrin Business Club (DMW) proudly announces that Michael R. Bader, Chairman of the Tourism Committee, officially represented Montenegro at the renowned FREE Tourism Fair held last week in Munich, Germany.

As one of the largest public tourism fairs in Southern Germany, FREE gathers thousands of travel enthusiasts, tourism professionals, and international exhibitors every year — offering a valuable platform for promoting destinations, exchanging experiences, and engaging directly with potential visitors.

Five Days of Promotion, Dialogue, and Valuable Insights

Reflecting on the event, Michael R. Bader shared:

“Five beautiful but also exhausting days at the trade fair are coming to an end. What remains? Many wonderful moments with visitors who are genuinely interested in spending their holiday in Montenegro. We also received insightful feedback from experienced Montenegro travellers on areas where improvements are needed. We listened — and we understood. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and contributed to our success!”

Throughout the fair, Mr. Bader engaged with hundreds of visitors, presenting Montenegro’s natural beauty, hospitality, and growing tourism offer — from the Adriatic coast and national parks to active tourism, gastronomy, and cultural heritage.

Strengthening Montenegro’s Presence on the German Market

DMW’s participation at the FREE Fair marks another important step in:

  • Increasing Montenegro’s visibility among German-speaking travellers
  • Promoting the country as a safe, attractive, and diverse tourism destination
  • Collecting first-hand impressions, expectations, and feedback from the German market
  • Connecting with tourism partners, agencies, and representatives from across Europe

With Germany consistently ranking among Montenegro’s key target markets, this type of direct engagement and fieldwork is crucial for long-term strategic growth.
