The German – Montenegrin Business Club expanded the Governing Board with two new members and elected a new president of the Club

At the Extraordinary Assembly of the Association, which was held on December 11, 2023, the German-Montenegrin Business Club appointed two new members of the Board of Directors, thereby expanding the existing board from five to a total of seven members.

Martin Leberle, (NLB Bank) and Wolfram Zeihe, (Law Office Prelevic) were elected as new members.

Martin Leberle was elected as the new president of the Association, who is also the president of the Governing Board. Mr. Leberle is the chairman of the Board of Directors of NLB banka and has many years of rich banking experience.

H. E. Peter Felten, Ambassador of Germany to Montenegro emphasized in his presentation that “economic ties – investments and trade – are the foundation of bilateral relations between our two countries, Montenegro and Germany, and the development of this foundation can simultaneously contribute to the progress of Montenegro on the way towards the EU – a goal that the German federal government strongly supports, in words and deeds. The German-Montenegro business club can make a significant contribution to the development of these economic relations”.

The German-Montenegrin Business Club is a leading association that gathers German companies operating in Montenegro, as well as Montenegrin companies and individuals who are business-oriented towards cooperation with Germany.

The aspiration of the German-Montenegrin business club is to contribute to the overall economic and social development of the country by improving the business environment and creating conditions for safe and predictable business.

New energy through changes in the personnel structure will refresh and strengthen the work of the club with the aim of its bolder and stronger positioning both in Montenegro and beyond.
